- Cook the bacon until crispy, then crumble it and set aside.
- Make the crack sauce by mixing ranch dressing, shredded cheddar, and bacon bits in a small bowl.
- Form beef patties and season them with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Preheat grill or skillet to medium-high heat. Cook patties for about 4–5 minutes per side, or until the cooking temp for burgers reaches 160°F.
- Add cheese slices on top of the patties in the final minute of cooking to melt.
- Toast the burger buns lightly for extra flavor.
- Assemble the burgers: bottom bun, patty, crack sauce, lettuce, tomato, and top bun.
- Serve hot with fries, onion rings, or coleslaw.
Notes
For a spicy twist, add jalapeños or hot sauce to the ranch mix. You can also make chicken crack burgers using ground chicken instead of beef. Store leftover patties in an airtight container and reheat on low heat for best texture.
