- Clean and wash fish pieces. Pat dry.
- In a bowl, mix chili powder, turmeric, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, and salt.
- Coat fish pieces with this marinade. Rest for 10 minutes.
- Mix semolina and rice flour in a plate.
- Coat each marinated fish piece in this dry mix.
- Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry fish till golden brown and crisp on both sides.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges and onion rings.
Notes
- Use fresh fish for best taste.
- Adjust chili powder as per spice preference.
- Serve with chutney or dal-chawal for a complete meal.
